Kazpost delivery for a Shopify store.
The most common question: can a real Kazpost rate be shown at checkout. Here is the honest answer — what is possible now and what is not yet.
What you can do today.
Plain Shopify handles delivery zones and rates by weight or order value. The shopper sees a price immediately, but it is calculated by your rules rather than the Kazpost price list.
For most stores that is enough: a few weight thresholds across the country plus a separate rate for major cities covers almost every order. It takes a day to set up and needs no apps.
The downside is that unusual shipments are estimated rather than calculated — sometimes in your favour, sometimes not.
What the app will add.
Nala Shipping calculates Kazpost rates — and CDEK and Yandex Delivery too — under your own contract, shows the delivery time, lets the shopper pick a branch and adds the tracking number to the order. The app is currently in development.
We are not naming a release date until we are sure of it. The Kazpost API behaves differently across scenarios, and we will not ship a calculation that is occasionally wrong on a real order.
